We are pleased to share our 2019 Annual Report. Despite the many challenges of operating in high-risk environments, our programme grew in scope. We cover more than 2,250 mine sites and hold a unique position in 3T responsible sourcing through our collaboration with government, civil society, and communities. Through ITSCI, mineral purchasers in over 40 countries are connected to 3T sources in central Africa.
In our Annual Report, we take stock of our achievements in 2019. We also reaffirm our commitment to accompanying our members’ compliance with international standards for responsible mineral trade, helping them navigate the complex environments in which they operate.
We aim to provide a transparent, clear, and global image of who we are and how we work. From an overview of our activities in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Uganda to our programme’s impact; from the progress we have made to our teams’ and stakeholders’ perspective, we share the successes of the ITSCI programme.
