ITSCI has announced the appointment of a new Programme Manager, Mickaël Daudin, who took over the role on 16 September 2022.
Mickaël has significant experience in mineral supply chain due diligence, including risk assessment and mitigation in Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRAs). Prior to joining ITA, he was the Deputy Director, Mines to Market for Pact, where he managed various projects on responsible mining and sourcing of minerals in Central Africa. He also led Pact’s engagement with the Voluntary Principles Initiative on Security and Human Rights. Mickaël has a deep commitment to responsible mineral supply chains and brings a wealth of field experience having served as Pact Programme Manager for ITSCI in the Great Lakes Region (GLR) for more than five years.
Mickaël said ‘I am truly delighted and humbled to be given the opportunity to lead this tremendous programme. Since I joined ITSCI through Pact seven and a half years ago, I have spent extensive time at our on the ground operations, supporting our excellent field team and have also engaged with many of our valued partners and stakeholders in the Great Lakes Region.’
Mickaël’s due diligence expertise and strong knowledge of the challenges facing the mining sector will be invaluable as ITSCI works for continuous performance and improvement, strengthening its upward trajectory in supporting responsible 3T supply chains and addressing some of the biggest issues facing our industry.

L’ITSCI a annoncé la nomination d’un nouveau Responsable du Programme, Mickaël Daudin, qui a pris ses fonctions le 16 septembre 2022.
Mickaël possède une expérience significative dans le devoir de diligence pour les chaînes d’approvisionnement en minerais, y compris l’évaluation et l’atténuation des risques dans les zones de conflit et à haut risque. Avant de rejoindre ITA, il était Directeur Adjoint, Mines to Market chez Pact, où il a dirigé divers projets sur l’exploitation minière responsable et l’approvisionnement en minerais en Afrique centrale.
Il a également dirigé l’engagement de Pact dans le cadre de l’initiative des Principes volontaires sur la sécurité et les droits de l’homme. Mickaël a un engagement profond pour des chaînes d’approvisionnement responsables en minerais et apporte une riche expérience de terrain, ayant été responsable du programme ITSCI pour Pact dans la région des Grands Lacs (RGL) pendant plus de cinq ans.
Mickaël a déclaré : « Je suis vraiment ravi et honoré d’avoir l’opportunité de diriger ce formidable programme. Depuis que j’ai rejoint l’ITSCI par le biais de Pact il y a sept ans et demi, j’ai passé beaucoup de temps dans nos opérations sur le terrain, soutenant notre excellente équipe et m’engageant également avec bon nombre de nos précieux partenaires et parties prenantes dans la région des Grands Lacs.
L’expertise de Mickaël sur le devoir de diligence et sa solide connaissance des défis auxquels est confronté le secteur minier seront inestimables étant donné que l’ITSCI travaille pour une performance et une amélioration continue, renforçant sa trajectoire ascendante dans le soutien des chaînes d’approvisionnement responsables en 3T et répondant à certains des plus grands problèmes auxquels notre industrie est confrontée.
